SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM WISTA
Dear Readers,
We’ve missed you! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and joy to you and all your loved ones, no matter what you celebrate!
Whew! It’s been a busy December!

First, we sang our hearts out at the QDF Calendar Launch,
where we had an absolute blast – performing a number from Show People called “Show off” to much-appreciated applause, and watching with wide eyes and admiration the talent and dedication of the Montreal theatre community. We are honoured to be a part of it!
Then, cast-members of WISTA shows past, present, and future got together to celebrate the holidays on Dec. 16th,
for our annual potluck. Some classic holiday melodies were mixed in with our usual roster of Broadway karaoke! In the spirit of the season, members brought non-perishable goods to be donated to la Guignolee.
In other exciting news, since we spoke to you last we have had our first official read-through with the cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie. It looks like we’re going to have a great group of people working together and they’re all raring to go! Rehearsals begin in January and we can hardly wait!
Finally, as WISTA takes a brief pause to catch its breath in order to dive back into the fray of rehearsing for two (!) shows fully rejuvenated, we’d like to let you know that tickets for one of those productions, Show People, are now on sale via our online box office (yes, we’re talented AND tech-savvy!) and the seating is reserved, so be dears and don’t dawdle!
