WISTA WELCOMES WINTER

Hello again, and welcome back!

It’s great that you keep coming back and we want to take a moment to thank you for your interest in WISTA.  It is greatly appreciated.  Keep it up, and spread the word! 

That being said, we have some exciting new announcements!!

First off:

What better way to spend the day than shopping and listening to some wonderful music? WISTA was carolling in Pointe-Claire Village on Saturday, Dec 3^rd for their old-fashioned Christmas event.  There were several events happening up and down the lakeshore, and, of course, some of your favourite people were there!  It was lovely, and harmonious and spirited.  It was great to see so many people enjoying the season!

Secondly,

In mid-November, WISTA held auditions for its second (annual?) June musical: Thoroughly Modern Millie.  Everyone was just terrif!  We have assembled a marvellous cast, and we hope to see you in June!

Third of all,

Do you know what’s coming up, just around the corner?  SHOW PEOPLE!!! (Do you know how many times I just misspelled that? Thank Goodness for spell check! And hats off to those who recognised what musical I just referenced).  That’s right, preparations are underway to put on the greatest Show People our show people can put on!  January 27^th and 28^th, at Théâtre Beaubois Theatre.  Check out our Facebook page for more information!

To recap: Check out the carolling, start getting excited for Millie, and put aside the dates for Show People.

P.S. Just a little reminder that as this is the West Island Student Theatre Association, and it is now entering exam time, do not be alarmed if you should find yourself on a bus or metro next to a person singing… in their sleep… without headphones… : )
